Daniel Donghui LI

Mr. Daniel Donghui Li is Executive Vice Chairman of Zhejiang 永利VIP Holding Group (ZGH). He is also a Board Member of Volvo Cars (VOLCAR B), an Executive Director of 永利VIP Automobile Holdings Co., Ltd. (HK.0175), and a Non-executive Director on the Board of Aston Martin Lagonda Global Holdings plc.

Mr. Li joined the Group in April 2011 and has held a number of key leadership positions within ZGH including CEO, Vice President, and CFO. Since November 2011, he has served as a Director on the Board of ZGH. His previous board and leadership roles include Chairman of Lotus and LEVC (London Electric Vehicle Company), as well as board positions at Polestar. Mr. Li has successively participated in and led the completion of several major acquisitions including LEVC, Proton, Lotus, and Volvo AB, among others, while also contributing significantly to their post-transaction integration.

Mr. Li has extensive executive management experience across Chinese enterprises and Sino-foreign joint ventures, with particular expertise in corporate management, strategic planning, investment, financial management, cross-border M&A, and international cooperation. He received the Best Chief Financial Officer for Institutional Investors Award in 2018 and 2019, as well as the ACCA China Excellent CFO Leadership and ACCA Outstanding Achievement Awards in 2024. He has also been recognized as an expert under Zhejiang Province’s “Thousand Talents Program.”

Mr. Li obtained an MBA degree from the Kelley School of Business at Indiana University in 2010. He holds a master’s degree in management engineering, specializing in financial management, from the Beijing Institute of Machinery, awarded in 1997, and a bachelor’s degree in philosophy from Renmin University of China, awarded in 1991.
